Classrooms along the south side of the building were exposed to significant solar heat gain and glare.

Scratch resistant energy control window film, was applied to the interior glass surface, in order retard the flow of heat energy through the glass surface. The window film installed was solar reflective to reduce heat and glare from the sun with additional design properties to reduce visible mirror index for a less "Shiny" appearance when viewed from the outside. Work was completed in 2002.
