Replace approximately 18,000 SF of roofing. Remove the existing roofing system (consisting of an asphalt-based, multi-ply, non-gravel surfaced built-up roofing system installed over a wood deck. An overlay asphalt based roll roofing system existed over the original built-up roofing system. An adhered EPDM roofing membrane system with ½" fiberboard insulation existed over the roll roofing system) and install an one half ½" recovery board and 5/8" thermal barrier, and 4 ply cold process built-up roofing system, complete with a protective cold process flood coat and aggregate surfacing. A complex external drainage system required tapered insulation and additional outlets built into an intricate gutter system. Proper tie-ins to the existing EPDM roof and cell tower structure were required.

Repairs included repointing of chimneys, new copper louver system and wood deck replacement. Work was completed in Summer 2002.
