A roof condition study was performed in 2004, with construction in the summer of 2005. An 84,000 SF sloped shingle roofing system had numerous deficiencies (i.e. product failure, vandalism, etc.). Various replacement options were proposed (shingles, single-ply, and metal roofing), and asphalt shingles were chosen with several measures taken to reduce the vandalism conditions.
