Roof Replacement at Juniper Hill Elementary School

Remove 41,250 sf of built-up roof system & replace w/ new 4-ply cold process built-up roofing system.
Many different roof levels and poor drainage (existing) conditions made this a very challenging design. Significant wood and cementitious wood fiber structural decking needed replacement. Over 20 abandoned skylights also needed to be roofed over, requiring a special structural design. Also, the same team members for this project provided roof replacement design and consulting services, utilizing cold process built-up roofing to 5 other Framingham Schools dating back to 1996. The value of all this roof replacement work is approx. $3,800,000.
