Roof Replacement at the Center Elementary School

| Project Scope: |
The work consisted of replacing existing historic slate roof with new slate roofing, which
included new copper valleys, hip and ridge caps, and brass snow guards. The flat roof
areas were replaced with new 90 mil adhered EPDM roofing complete with tapered insulation,
roof drains, edge metal, and expansion joints. A 30-year full system warranty was included
on the EPDM roofing. Construction was completed in 2004 at a contract price of $347,000.
