Roof Replacement at the
Farmington River Regional Elementary School

| Project Scope: |
This project involved the investigation of the premature failure of a sloped shingle
roofing, approximately 30,000 SF, followed by the design of a replacement roof system.
The roof condition study was performed in 2005, with construction to occur in 2006.
Numerous deficiencies were found, and various replacement options were presented (shingles,
single-ply, and metal roofing) at an estimated construction cost of $240,000 to $450,000.
